Russia's CC agrees to consider Evkurov's request on border with Chechnya

The session of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, which will assess the legality of the agreement on the Ingush-Chechen border, is scheduled for November 27.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 30, the Ingush CC declared the republic's law on the border with Chechnya unconstitutional. In his turn, the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Evkurov has sent a request to the federal CC asking to analyse the border agreement.

His request has been accepted for consideration today, the TASS quotes the press service of the Russia's CC.

Let us remind you that on October 30, the World Congress of the Ingush People was held in the city of Nazran, the Ingush capital. Its participants called on President Vladimir Putin to suspend the border agreement return the direct election of the head of the republic.
