Widow of North-Ossetian resident who died at police station tells about his detention

On February 22, told the court that after her husband's detention, law enforcers told no details about him; and she learned about his death from her acquaintance-morgue employee. Her advocate intends to request the materials of Tskaev's case and to clarify the alleged falsifications.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 18, none of the ten policemen accused within the case pleaded guilty. The Tskaev's widow has urged to tighten the charge articles.

Vladimir Tskaev, a resident of Vladikavkaz, died in November 2015 after being interrogated at the police station. Relatives assert that he had been tortured.

Zemfira Tskaeva told the court about the detention of her husband. According to her version, on October 31, 2015, about ten policemen, without their IDs, entered their house and said that they needed to take Vladimir away for interrogation. "They illegally entered the house and illegally took him away," said the woman.

Tskaev was suspected that he had made a shot at Roland Pliev, a law enforcer. Later, Marat Bukulov confessed to wounding Pliev; he was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison.

Zemfira learned about Vladimir's death from his sister Albina Bugulova.

"The forensic examiner said that he died of heart failure under the influence of a drug. This is a lie, he had never used drugs," said Irina Demurova, Vladimir's cousin.

According to her story, her brother's body "was all in bruised and extravasations," and she could not recognize him at once.

"He had been always physically healthy," Irina has added.
