Owner of house destroyed during CTO in Nalchik tells about tenant
The house, in which during the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in Nalchik, three persons were killed, was rented by a young man a day before the CTO, the woman-owner of the house has stated. Law enforcement sources have named the casualties.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO regime was introduced in Nalchik on the morning of February 27. During the CTO, law enforcers blocked a private house; three men were killed in a shootout. According to law enforcers, they had planned to commit a terror act in the territory of the republic.
The house in Kardanov Brothers Street in Nalchik, where the CTO was held, is completely destroyed inside, its owner told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on February 28.
According to her story, exactly two days ago, a young man rented the house. She knows nothing about him; and everything that happened was a shock for her.
The persons killed during the CTO are Koshev, Arthur Kazbekovich, born in 1986; Gurizhev, Aslangeriy Betalovich, born in 1988; and Taukov, Amir Raudinovich, born in 1990, the edition named "The North-Caucasian News" has reported, referring to law enforcement sources of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR). According to law enforcers, the casualties were members of a secret cell of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by the court.
"In the course of inspecting the venue, weapons, ammunition, communications equipment, components for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), as well as a map of Nalchik with notes, were found," said a law enforcement source.
