Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of machine gun shelling

Units of the Armed Forces of Armenia have violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 29 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

On the eve, Azerbaijan reported 21 shelling attacks in the conflict zone, stating that positions of the Azerbaijani Army in three villages had come under fire.

"Within the last 24 hours, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia, by using large-calibre machine guns, violated the ceasefire regime in various sections of the frontline for 29 times," the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has stated.

According to the MoD, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army, stationed in the village of Kemerli and on the nameless heights of the Gazakh and Gadabay Districts were shelled.
