Ingush activist Ibragim Dugiev detained, his relatives report
Today, law enforcers have searched a house of rally participant Ibragim Dugiev and taken the activist away with them, his relatives report. The day before his detention, Ibragim Dugiev voluntarily visited investigators, and they had no claims against him, one of the protest leaders reported.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 27, rally participants continued their protest action without a sanction from the authorities. They stayed in a square in Magas for the night. On the other day, clashes occurred between the protesters and the law enforcers. According to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), ten law enforcers were injured.
After protest actions in Magas on March 26, three protest leaders Akhmed Barakhoev, Musa Malsagov, and Barakh Chemurziev were sentenced to administrative arrests. On April 4, Elder Akhmed Barakhoev went on hunger strike. A criminal case was instituted against other nine people on the use of violence against law enforcers.
The family members of 25-year-old Ibragim Dugiev reported that law enforcers had broken windows and doors to enter their house in the village of Kantyshevo in the Nazran District of Ingushetia. The law enforcers seized all the available office equipment and took the young man away with them to Nalchik, his relatives reported.
On the eve of April 8, Ibragim Dugiev visited an investigator and gave testimony, the "FortangaORG" Telegram channel reports today.
On April 8, the investigators did not voice any claims against Ibragim Dugiev, noted Akhmet Pogorov, one of the protest leaders.
