Blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov starts collecting complaints from Chechen residents
Chechen blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov published at least 20 messages received from residents of the republic. Employees of Chechen organizations complain of being forced to work at subbotniks (voluntary cleaning works) and attend rallies and sports events. They also complain of deductions from their salaries.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 16, Tumso Abdurakhmanov noted the stormy reaction of Ramzan Kadyrov and his supporters to the bloggers' new statement criticizing Kadyrov the elder. The blogger announced his victory in the confrontation with the Chechen authorities.
On April 17, Tumso Abdurakhmanov began to publish complaints received from residents of Chechnya about the injustice of the authorities. Most complaints concern coercion of Chechen residents to take part in public works, subbotniks, rallies, or sports events.
In Grozny, students regularly report being forced to attend matches of the "Akhmat" FC.
A number of complaints also concern forced deductions from salaries. Authors of many reports sharply criticize Ramzan Kadyrov and his subordinates.
All public employees of Chechnya are required to transfer about 10% of their income to charity every month.
Earlier, residents of Chechnya have repeatedly retracted their complaints against the authorities. So, in November 2018, on the TV air, a resident of the Avtury village called a mistake his publication of a video, criticizing employees of a local hospital.
