Ramzan Kadyrov refutes information about his promotion to Vice Premier
The leader of Chechnya responded to the information about his possible resignation, with a subsequent promotion to the post of the Vice Premier, by a demonstrative rejection of any ambitions to become a federal top-ranking official.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that political analysts repeatedly treated the actions and statements of Ramzan Kadyrov as claims to higher political positions.
Ramzan Kadyrov used an ironic tone to comment on the assumptions about his upcoming promotion and called them "fables." "People who match me to top-ranking positions are deeply mistaken," the leader of Chechnya wrote on his Telegram channel.
Ramzan Kadyrov has emphasized that he does not plan to move to another position in the near future and called himself "a slave of Allah" and "a servant of his people." "There are no chairs for me above these posts!" the leader of Chechnya concluded.
Today, the upcoming promotion of Ramzan Kadyrov has been reported by the "Nezygar" Telegram channel, associated by some journalists with the presidential administration.
According to the "Nezygar" Telegram channel, the Kremlin discusses the possibility of appointing Ramzan Kadyrov "the Vice Premier and Plenipotentiary in Northern Caucasus" to replace Alexander Matovnikov, who is the current presidential envoy to the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD). In case of such an appointment, Magomed Daudov, Speaker of the Chechen parliament, has been mentioned as the likely successor of Ramzan Kadyrov as the leader of Chechnya.
