In Chechnya, police chief explains information about a slap to Ramzan Kadyrov's portrait
Apti Alaudinov, the chief of the Chechen police, denied the information that he fell into disgrace because of a comic slap to a portrait of Ramzan Kadyrov. The police chief called on people not to believe "every gossip."
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 14, the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta" reported that top-ranking Chechen officials suspected of disloyalty to Ramzan Kadyrov were detained and tortured because of their alleged disrespectful statements addressed to the leader of Chechnya. Apti Alaudinov was also mentioned in the article posted by the newspaper.
Apti Alaudinov recorded a video message with his oath of allegiance to Ramzan Kadyrov. Social networks reported that Apti Alaudinov was detained, tortured and then dismissed from office for "a comic slap to a portrait of Ramzan Kadyrov" during his visit to Ibragim Temirbaev, the former Mayor of Argun.
"Every year, our enemies like to write different stories about us," said the Chechen Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
Let us remind you that on October 7, the "SKFO Telegraph" Telegram channel reported about an attempt to poison Ramzan Kadyrov. According to the Telegram channel, two former mayors of Chechen cities and a top-ranking law enforcer were suspected of plotting the attempt of poisoning the Chechen leader.
The information about the attempted poisoning of Ramzan Kadyrov by conspirators from among his close associates is not credible, but it could not appear in large Telegram channels by accident. Such a "stuffing" may be a step of the Ramzan Kadyrov's PR, analysts note.
