Azerbaijan reports about sniper attacks in Karabakh conflict zone

The positions of the Azerbaijani troops in the Karabakh conflict zone and on the border with Armenia were shelled 20 times within 24 hours, including attacks from sniper rifles, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 30, Azerbaijan and Armenia exchanged accusations of violating the ceasefire. The Azerbaijani MoD claimed 22 shelling attacks on its positions from the direction of Armenia and from the territory controlled by the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh. Later, the Ministry of Defence of Armenia reported about shelling attacks on villages and combat positions in the Tavush District.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, the fire came from positions on the territory of the "Noyemberyan District" and near the "occupied villages."

The shelling attacks hit the positions of the Azerbaijani troops in the village of Gaimagly in the Gazakh District and in the villages of Geyali and Zamanly in the Gadabay District, the Azerbaijani MoD reports on its official website.
