NKR claims 140 shelling attacks in conflict zone

Since December 8, Azerbaijani militaries fired more than 1500 shots at positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 1-7, the NKR recorded 130 ceasefire violations committed by Azerbaijani militaries.

"On December 8-14, on the contact line of the troops of Artsakh (the NKR, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") and Azerbaijan, the opponent violated the ceasefire regime for about 140 times, firing over 1500 shots at Armenian military posts from multi-calibre small arms," the NKR's MoD reported on its website.

Moreover, according to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", on December 8-14, Azerbaijan counted 151 shelling attacks of its positions in the Karabakh conflict zone and on the border with Armenia.
