Consulate of Georgia: 2681 Georgians deported from Russia

According to the Embassy of Georgia in Moscow, a total of 2681 citizens of Georgia have been deported from Russia under court judgements, and 1194 Georgians more "were forced to leave the country without any legal judgements." This information was announced at the sitting of Georgian parliament by Zurab Pataradze, consul of the country in Russia.

The consul asserted that the Georgian detainees were kept in Russia in isolation facilities in nasty conditions, and those still at large fear to get outdoors, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
