Road blocked for Delimkhanov outrages residents of Ingushetia

On January 2, members of the influential Batal Khadji brotherhood blocked a street in Nazran in honour of the Chechen MP Adam Delimkhanov, who came to visit them. This was criticized by local residents.

Oskanov Street in Nazran, where members of the Batal Khadji tariqat (brotherhood) live compactly, was blocked on January 2. The traffic was restored only after police intervention, a resident of Nazran, Magomed Ozdoev, has reported.

"I remember that it was like that at the funeral of Ibragim Belkharoev. It was somehow explainable; the situation was clear, after all, so many people came to the funeral. But I don't understand when, due to the convenience of one family, they create problems for the whole city," the "News of Ingushetia" quotes Ozdoev as saying.

The street was blocked because of the arrival of Adam Delimkhanov, an MP of the Russian State Duma from Chechnya, who came to mark the anniversary of the death of Ibragim Belkharoev, says the publication in the "FortangORG" page on the Facebook with reference to the above Magomed Ozdoev.
