Visitors to Makhachkala mosque voice out problems related to "prophylactic registration"

On March 6, law enforcers conducted their regular raid in the vicinity of the "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala. Believers said that because of the entry into the database of extremists, law enforcers are subjecting them to checks at stationary posts.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that law enforcers are regularly conducting raids at the "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala, explaining this by their concern about security.

On March 6, dozens of law enforcers took part in the raid; their mobile posts were in three locations, an eyewitness, journalist Idris Yusupov, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

A visitor to the "Tangim" Mosque, who introduced himself as Nurmagomed, complained about problems he faced while crossing interregional borders and driving along roads inside Dagestan. According to his story, law enforcers have been checking him for a long time at stationary posts, asking where he was going and why.

According to Nurmagomed, during one of these checks, a law enforcer explained that he was on the so-called "prophylactic registry" as an extremist. However, he refused to make an excerpt from the appropriate database indicating this status.
