Soldier of NKR's Defence Army dies

Sasun Margaryan, a soldier of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), has died from a gunshot wound.

According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD), the incident occurred on May 10 at about 6:25 p.m. local time.

"At a combat post in one of the military units located in the eastern section of the Defence Army, Sasun Surenovich Margaryan, born in 2001, received a fatal wound under unclear circumstances," says a statement of the NKR's MoD (translated by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent).

The MoD has noted that the circumstances of the incident will be clarified during the investigation.
