Restrictions on entry to Tbilisi lifted
Today, the capital of Georgia, which was closed because of the coronavirus epidemic, has been opened for entry and exit, the Georgian government announces.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 27, the Georgian authorities began to lift step by step the restrictions imposed because of the coronavirus epidemic.
Today, the capital of Georgia, which was closed since April 15, has been opened for entry and exit, the spokesperson for the Georgian government administration reports. "All entrances and exits from Tbilisi are open starting from 6:00 a.m.," the spokesperson announced.
According to the Georgian government administration official, the police and soldiers are still on duty at the entrances to Tbilisi. They measure the temperature of those arriving in the city, the TASS reports.
Furthermore, starting from today, Georgia opens all types of retail and wholesale stores, which have entrances from the street and do not sell clothes and shoes, the "Sputnik-Georgia" reports.
All types of production will also resume their operation, announces Prime Minister Giorgi Gakhariya.
