In February and March 2020, four people fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
In February and March 2020, during the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, four people perished; there was no information about the wounded ones. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.
The statistics cited cannot accurately reflect the number of victims. Not all the data gets into news bulletins. It is not always possible to check how true the statements of law enforcement bodies are; and new data on the events that happened during the reporting period sometimes become known after the publication of statistics on the "Caucasian Knot".
Both incidents occurred in March. In Kabardino-Balkaria, three alleged members of the armed underground were killed in a special operation. In Ingushetia, a man was also killed in a special operation, allegedly associated with militants.
