In Ingushetia, Troitskoye residents do not demand compensation for damage from CTO
In the Ingush village of Troitskoye, where three persons were killed during a counterterrorist operation (CTO), no houses were damaged, except for the house in which the special operation took place. So far, residents have not applied for compensation for damage, the village administration noted.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), three supporters of the "Islamic State", a terrorist organization banned in Russia by the court, were killed in a shootout, while two law enforcers were wounded.
The house where the special operation was carried out belongs to the Gandaloev family, but there is not information what relation they have to participants in the shootout, the village administration reports.
Owners of the house have the right to go to the court to demand compensation for damage if they are not involved in a party to the armed conflict with the law enforcers, says advocate Vladimir Postaniuk.
If damage was caused to a person's property when the person was suspected of a crime, and then his or her guilt was not proven, the person has the right to compensation as a part of the rehabilitation.
Let us remind you that the counterterrorist operation conducted in the Troitskoye village has become the fourth in the Sunzha District and the fifth in Ingushetia carried out since the early 2020.
