MoDs of Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Armenia report losses of military vehicles

Today, the Azerbaijani troops have lost an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and a helicopter, as well as some armoured vehicles, the Ministries of Defence (MoDs) of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh reported. The Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan reported about destruction of two enemy tanks and denied the information about the loss of a helicopter.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 27, the hostilities broke out in the Karabakh conflict zone. The martial law is in force in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Azerbaijan. Today, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has reported about the intense combat actions in the Karabakh conflict zone. Furthermore, according to the Azerbaijani side, at 7:30 a.m., an artillery shelling attack on combat positions in the Dashkesan District was launched from the territory of the Vardenis District of Armenia. Armenia called the claim about the shelling attack on the Dashkesan District a lie.

Today, an UAV of the armed forces of Azerbaijan has been shot down in the Karabakh conflict zone, reports Artsrun Ovannisyan, the spokesman for the Armenian MoD.

Furthermore, according to his information, today, the Armenian troops have shot down at least one enemy helicopter. "We have just shot down a helicopter. Perhaps, even several helicopters," said Artsrun Ovannisyan as quoted by the "Sputnik Armenia" today.

According to the Armenian MoD, during the hostilities, Azerbaijan has already lost 50 UAVs, more than 80 tanks and other armoured vehicles, 82 cars, and four helicopters, the "Sputnik Armenia" reports.

Today, the Ministry of Defence of Nagorno-Karabakh has also released a report about destroyed military vehicles. "The enemy lost 11 UAVs, including an assault UAV, an engineering armoured vehicle, four 82A armoured personnel carriers (APCs), and five tanks," reported on its official website the Ministry of Defence of Nagorno-Karabakh as translated from the Armenian language by the "Caucasian Knot".

In its turn, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan reported about the destruction of two tanks. "Units of the Azerbaijani army destroyed two enemy tanks with a precise artillery attack," reports the press release posted today on the official website of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence noted the statement of the Armenian side about the downed helicopter was not true.
