Civilian killed in a shelling attack on Terter

One person was killed in a shelling attack from the Armenian side on the city of Terter, and the number of civilians killed during the hostilities reached 16, while 55 others were wounded, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reported. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan registered a rocket attack in the Karabakh conflict zone and denied information about a downed helicopter.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that combat actions have been going on in the Karabakh conflict zone since September 27. The martial law is in force in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.

The MoD of Azerbaijan reported that in the morning on October 1, the Armenian troops resumed shelling attacks on Azerbaijani villages and cities. The Armenian armed forces used large-calibre guns, mortar launchers, and artillery guns of various calibres to attack the city of Terter.

According to the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan, a civilian was killed in the shelling attack on Terter. Since September 27, the number of civilians killed in shelling attacks by the Armenian troops reached 16 people, and 55 civilians were wounded, reported the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan as quoted by the "Sputnik Azerbaijan" today.

A combat helicopter of the Azerbaijani troops was shot down by the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh on the border with Iran, the Ministry of Defence of Nagorno-Karabakh reports today. According to it, the helicopter was shot down in the area of Varazatumb (Lele Tepe) and fell on the territory of Iran.

The MoD of Azerbaijan claims that the report of Nagorno-Karabakh about the downed helicopter is not true.
