Chechens' participation in Karabakh conflict causes distrust among Instagram users

The video stating that Chechens have gone to fight in Nagorno-Karabakh looks unconvincing, some social network users have pointed out. Some of them have suggested that the video, posted after Elkhan Suleimanov, the head of the Chechen Ministry of Public Health, had publicly supported Azerbaijan, was cut from some movie.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that residents of Chechnya had negatively perceived the version about their fellow countrymen's participation in the Karabakh conflict. Natives of Chechnya should not fight for other people's interests, they pointed out. In their turn, experts admitted the Chechens' participation in Karabakh fighting, recalling similar cases in Georgia and Ukraine.

"These are Chechens who live in Azerbaijan," the user turpal_ali___27 has suggested on the Instagram. "It's a provocation against the Chechen people," the user alfaspec177 has assessed the video.

There are no Chechens in the conflict zone, the user ahlu_sunna_val_djamaaazerb, who called himself a resident of Azerbaijan, has assured.
