Azerbaijan claims return of control over six villages in conflict zone

The Azerbaijani Army has taken control of six villages of the Fizuli and the Djebrail Districts, the Azeri President has stated. The number of dwelling settlements that passed under Azerbaijan's control, according to the Azerbaijani side, has reached 50.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that by October 10, Azerbaijan had announced the establishment of control over 36 settlements. On October 14, the Azerbaijani leadership claimed the capture of eight more villages. Armenian troops retreated in two front directions, Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, said on the same day.

Six more settlements came under Azerbaijan's control - the village of Arysh in the Fizuli District, the village of Doshulu in the Djebrail District, the villages of Edisha, Dyudyukchu, Edilli and Chiraguz of the Khojavend District, President Ilham Aliev wrote on his Twitter on October 15, whose message was translated by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
