Witnesses in Kochesoko' case voice different versions of drug seizure from him

A package with marijuana from a pocket of Martin Kochesoko's trousers during his personal search was extracted by an expert, the law enforcer, who took part in activist's detention, asserts. However, another witness questioned at the trial evidenced that the activist took the package out of his pocket and handed it over to the police himself.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the case of the Circassian activist, Martin Kochesoko, is considered at court since August 17. Contrary to signed confessions, Kochesoko insists on his innocence. His criminal prosecution has to do with his social and political activities, his colleagues are sure.

According to the police, Kochesoko has confessed to the acquisition and possession of narcotic drugs; he faces up to ten years in prison. The activist himself insists that the drugs were planted on him. The Kochesoko's detention has caused a wide resonance not only in Russia, but also abroad.

According to one of the witnesses, during the detention, Kochesoko was offered to hand over the objects and substances prohibited in the territory of the Russian Federation, and then he "explained that there is a narcotic drug – marijuana, which belonged to him, was in his trousers and in his car."
