Baku and Yerevan accuse each other of involving third countries in conflict

Turkish military personnel and militants from Syria and Pakistan arrive in the Karabakh conflict zone, states Rafael Vardanyan, the director of the Investigating Committee of Armenia. The Armenian military personnel stay in Nagorno-Karabakh thanks to the supply of Russian weapons, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev claims in turn.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that full-scale hostilities began in Nagorno-Karabakh on September 27. On October 26, a new agreement on a humanitarian truce in the Karabakh conflict zone entered into force, but already in the first hours after it, the parties exchanged accusations of violating the truce.

During his interview to the Italian "Rai-1" TV Channel, Ilham Aliev, President of Azerbaijan, spoke about the Russia's military support for the Armenian side. A video of the interview was posted in Russian on YouTube by the "AzerTAj" agency.

Ilham Aliev also refuted the information about the participation of the Turkish military personnel in the Karabakh conflict and pointed to the supply of Armenia by the Russian side. "We are not talking about how many weapons are supplied from Russia to Armenia. We are not underlining the fact that today, Armenia would not have stayed a day in the occupied territories without external support," Ilham Aliev stated.

In turn, Rafael Vardanyan, the director of the Investigating Committee of Armenia, has said that militants from Syria and Pakistan and military personnel from Turkey continue to arrive in the Karabakh conflict zone. Rafael Vardanyan has also noted that about 300 Turkish special forces fighters were discovered near the city of Ganja. "Earlier, according to the Investigating Committee's information, they have taken part in the fighting in Afrin and Idlib in Syria," said the director of the Armenian Investigating Committee as quoted by the "Sputnik Armenia" today.
