Social network users criticize Chechen men for addressing a witch
After watching a TV report of the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company) about clients of a witch, Instagram users write in their comments that those who provide occult services are usually addressed by women, while such acts are humiliating for Chechen men.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 18, the "Grozny" ChGTRK released a TV report in which two men repented of having addressed a sorceress in Dagestan for help. According to authors of the TV report, Said-Akhmed Ataev, one of the men, wanted to return his wife, with whom he was divorced, while his acquaintance Khalid Shansaev planned to strengthen his marriage with his wife with the help of a sorceress.
In the summer of 2019, Chechen authorities intensified persecution of the people who render occult services.
By 1:00 p.m. Moscow time on December 21, the TV report about Said-Akhmed Ataev and Khalid Shansaev released by the "Grozny" ChGTRK gained 168,000 views, and 1438 comments were posted under it. Authors of many comments written in Russian expressed their surprise that the men from Chechnya decided to seek help from a sorceress.
"I thought that only women were involved in such matters, but it turns out that [men] too," wrote, in particular, user mulatka0100. "Love is a strong power, but to be honest, I thought only women believe in love spells," agreed user milana____0595. "What a nightmare ... I thought only a woman could be involved in such matters. But men … What are you doing? [...] Allah will not forgive that," noted user michaeva1957.
