Djumaev's relatives release video with him from courtroom

Relatives of Said-Mukhammad Djumaev, a Chechen, arrested for a brawl with law enforcers at a rally in support of Alexei Navalny in Moscow, managed to talk to him in the courtroom and make sure that he received their parcels, it follows from the videos posted by them in social networks.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 23, 2021, Said-Mukhammad Djumaev, an ethnic Chechen, at the rally in support of Alexei Navalny in Moscow, entered into confrontation with law enforcers. Djumaev managed to escape, but he was detained in the Pskov Region and arrested until March 23. He is accused of using violence against state servants.

On February 27, a video "with Said-Mukhammad Djumaev after the court session" was posted by Bersan Zaitov on the Facebook. “In the corridor of the courthouse and at the exit, the cousin and his father managed to see the guy and exchange several encouraging phrases. Let me remind you that court sessions are held behind closed doors; and the parents have no opportunity to see their son. Djumaev, as you can see, is absolutely not discouraged and keeps himself brave," the post says.

It is illustrated with three videos. In the first one, policemen are taking the young man out of the paddy wagon; the second one shows him taken into some room. The person filming the video on his phone calls out to Djumaev, and he answers him with a smile. "Has the parcel reached you?" the author of the video asks, in particular. "Yes, and not just one," Djumaev replies.
