Kadyrov demands apologies from Israeli authorities for clashes with Palestinians

The clashes of Israeli policemen with Palestinians, in which believers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque were injured, should be followed by apologies from the Israeli authorities to Muslims, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the practice of public apologies is widespread in Chechnya; and, following Kadyrov' example, it spread to other regions. In particular, on July 18, 2020, Kadyrov himself demanded from the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to confirm the apology he made after releasing a video clip with the sobbing head of Chechnya.

Israeli authorities must apologize for "an unjustified military operation" in East Jerusalem, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated today.

"On the last Friday of Ramadan, when thousands of believers gathered in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Israeli special forces armed to the teeth broke therein. As a result of the use of weapons and special means, hundreds of peaceful, unarmed people were injured. Their only guilt was that they wanted to pray. [...] It is important that everyone understands that Muslims themselves won't patiently wait until these endless, cynical attacks on the mosque and believers' repressions stop. Note that Al-Aqsa Mosque is one of the three most important shrines for all Islam followers," Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.

He has warned that his words could be "interpreted as one likes," but Muslims "won't let anyone joking" with the shrine.
