Tumso Abdurakhmanov reports kidnapping of Chechen blogger
A native of Chechnya, known in social networks as Ayub Vakhaevich, has disappeared after posting a video criticizing local authorities, the blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, has informed. Ayub's subscribers on the YouTube are concerned about his fate.
Ayub Vakhaevich was kidnapped by Kadyrov people about five days ago, Tumso has informed. Ayub disappeared after he posted a video clip on the Facebook and YouTube, in which he expressed "dissatisfaction with the authorities in some moments, for example, for the forced vaccination and the ban to extract rubble from the bed of the Gums River without paying a bribe," Abdurakhmanov wrote in his Telegram channel "Abu-Saddam Shishani".
In the video clip, Ayub conducts a tour over the village of Bachi-Yurt. "Tourists are much safer here than the Chechens who live here," he says in the video.
The authors of the comments have sympathized with the blogger and reproached him for being imprudent.
It is also known that Ayub Vakhaevich had supported Said-Mukhammad Djumaev. Thus, on February 7, he posted on the Instagram a video with the blogger Mikhail Litvin, in which the latter talks about Djumaev.
Said-Mukhammad Djumaev, a native of Chechnya, was detained after an action in support of the opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, held in Moscow. He was accused of using violence against law enforcers.
