Azerbaijan transfers remains of 11 dead to Stepanakert

The remains of 11 people were handed over to Karabakh rescuers through the mediation of Russian peacekeepers.

Today, Azerbaijan has handed over to the Armenian side the remains of those killed during the war in the autumn of 2020, the State Service for Emergencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Nagorno-Karabakh reported as quoted by the “News-Armenia”.

Since the beginning of the search work after the end of the combat actions and the exchange of bodies of the dead, the remains of 1697 people, including civilians, have been handed over to the Armenian side, the “News.Am” reports with reference to the Nagorno-Karabakh MIA’s State Service for Emergencies.
