Head of Dagestani Derbent District reports death of fellow countryman in Ukraine

Artyom Verdiev, a military serviceman-native of the village of Belidji, has perished in Ukraine, the head of the Derbent District has informed. Since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, the death of at least 73 natives of Dagestan has been officially confirmed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Bekhman Verdikhanov, an officer from Derbent, has also perished in Ukraine.

Mavsum Ragimov, the head of the Derbent District, has expressed his condolences to the parents of Artyom Verdiev, the perished commander of the first reconnaissance division.
