Volunteer dispatch report highlights Kadyrov’s loyalty to Putin
When commenting on the Ramzan Kadyrov’s report about sending another detachment of volunteers to Ukraine, Caucasian expert Ruslan Kutaev has noted that it is important for the authorities of Chechnya to demonstrate to President Putin their active participation in the special military operation.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that Ramzan Kadyrov regularly reports about dispatching detachments of volunteers to Ukraine and posts video reports from Chechen unit commanders. So, on April 23, Ramzan Kadyrov reported about the dispatch of several hundred volunteers from Chechnya, including residents of other regions of the country.
For the authorities of Chechnya, the special military operation in Ukraine is a much more significant event than for leaders of other regions, Ruslan Kutaev, the president of the Assembly of Caucasian Nations, has told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent. “It is more significant for them than for the leaders, for example, of Dagestan or Karachay-Cherkessia, or even the Bryansk Region bordering Ukraine. The authorities of Chechnya are militarized by themselves. Chair of the Chechen parliament [Magomed Daudov] wears military uniform. [Kadyrov’s advisor and State Duma member Adam] Delimkhanov is awarded the title of Hero of Russia. Show me another State Duma member who would be [in the zone of hostilities]. All this suggests that the Chechen authorities are directly connected with the prospect of the Russian federal power [in the special military operation in Ukraine],” Ruslan Kutaev said.
The recruitment of volunteers “is exactly in the same direction,” since the well-being of the Chechen authorities depends on the President Putin’s successes, Ruslan Kutaev explains.
