Kadyrov calls for voluntary mobilization

There is no need to declare mobilization in Russia, but citizens of the country should mobilize on their own because of the situation in Ukraine, Ramzan Kadyrov announces.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that the leader of Chechnya regularly reports about sending volunteers to Ukraine. People are attracted by the promise of large remunerations or sent under pressure, social media users suggest.

At the “New Horizons” marathon held by the Russia’s Knowledge Society, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated there is no need for a mobilization in Russia, but residents of the country should mobilize on their own.

It should be noted that the Chechen human rights association “Vayfond” reported that dozens of residents of Chechnya asked for help to leave Russia in order to avoid being sent to Ukraine.

The contract, signed under duress, has no legal basis, explains Valentina Melnikova, the executive secretary of the Union of Committees of Soldiers’ Mothers of Russia.

Ruslan Kutaev, the president of the Assembly of Caucasian Nations, reported that he learned of cases of forcible sending of residents of Chechnya to the zone of the special military operation. According to Ruslan Kutaev, in case of refusal to participate in the special military operation, residents of Chechnya may face serious difficulties.
