Two persons were wounded and one was killed during shootings in South Ossetia and Georgia

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports, it is claimed in South Ossetia that Georgian armed units are shooting at Tskhinval from mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. A man and a woman have been wounded during the shooting. They are  Yuriy Maisuradze, a Georgian, and Biazrova Asiat, an Ossetin.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been informed at the South Ossetia republican somatic hospital (RSH) that the RSH doctors saved the life of Yuriy Maisuradze, Tskhinval resident. They pulled out a mine fragment which was close to his carotid. He has also been informed at the hospital that the Saakashvili forces were shelling the hospital area which is a brutal violation not only of the earlier agreements within the Georgia-Ossetia conflict settlement process, but also of international legislation on the protection of medical institutions during the war.

There is a report to the effect that residents of South Ossetia have been shot at from the village of Kheiti which is under the control of Georgian MIA. They came to express their condolences to the relatives of Rodion Tuayev, a 19-year-old Tskhinval resident who died yesterday after being shot at by a Georgian sniper. This has been reported by telephone from the scene to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Andrei Bitiiyev, one of the people who were under fire. He added that the snipers' fire hampers preparations for the funeral.

In its turn, it is reported from Georgia that today, a teenager has been killed in the village of Tamarasheni (a Georgian village near the South Ossetia capital).
