Sochi court orders Catholic priest to leave Russia
In Sochi, the Central District Court has fined for preaching and ordered the expulsion of Catholic priest Vladislav Klotz, who had been conducting services in Russia for the past 28 years.
On August 21, it became known that in Tuapse, a court fined Baptist pastor Anatoly Mukhin, finding him guilty of illegal missionary activity.
The Central District Court of Sochi found Vladislav Klotz, a citizen of Poland, guilty under an administrative article on illegal missionary activity.
Vladislav Klotz admitted his guilt, explaining that he “lost the document confirming his right to preach in Sochi.”
In April 2019, Vladislav Klotz served at the parish of the Last Supper in Rostov-on-Don, the website of the organization “Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Clement in Saratov” reported.
