Kadyrov threatens fellow countrymen with floor mopping for violating behaviour norms
The natives of Chechnya who discredit the Chechen nation by their behaviour will be returned to the republic and forced to mop floors. This was stated by Ramzan Kadyrov after the incident with Arthur Ilyaskhanov, who made insulting remarks on behalf of Chechens in a Nizhnevartovsk store. Adam Delimkhanov, an advisor to the head of Chechnya, has confirmed his readiness to fulfil the above Kadyrov's order.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 23 in the city of Nizhnevartovsk, Arthur Ilyaskhanov, a 37-year-old resident of Khasavyurt, broke bottles belonging to the store because they refused to sell alcohol to him, calling himself a Chechen, insulted a Russian employee of the store. He also doubted the efficiency of the actions of the Russian Army in Ukraine.
On July 25, a video was posted with Ilyaskhanov's apology. He has added that received threats from members of the local Chechen community.
On his Telegram channel, Kadyrov threatened the Chechens who live outside the republic and "disgrace their nation" with forced labour. He instructed his adviser Adam Delimkhanov to bring the fellow countrymen who "don't know how to behave," back into Chechnya.
Delimkhanov, who is also a State Duma MP from Chechnya, has mentioned two more episodes connected with republic's natives. The participant in the "incident in Surgut" has already been found and brought home; and work is underway on other cases, he said.
Let us remind you that in August 2020, Chechen authorities forced about a hundred natives of Chechnya to return from Moscow. The young people then publicly repented. As a punishment, they were forced to clean streets, collect garbage and do other works.
