Krasnodar activist detained and left in custody overnight

Vitaly Nemtsev, the coordinator of the "Citizen Observer" project, became a figurant of the protocol on the demonstration of prohibited symbols. He was left in custody for the night.

Vitaly was detained in Krasnodar after a badge of the "Azov"* Battalion appeared on his car. According to the activist, he had planned to visit polling stations today.

Nemtsev was left overnight in the cell for administrative detainees, Alipat Sultanbegova, an activist, has informed. During the coming three days, he was supposed to observe the elections, according to the Telegram channel "Free Media".

A protocol was drawn up against Vitaly Nemtsev under an article on the demonstration of prohibited symbols, suggesting up to 15 days of arrest, the "OVD-Info"** project has reported in its Telegram channel.
