North-Ossetian woman suspected of discrediting militaries

A protocol under the article on discrediting the Russian Army has been drawn up against Marina Gagieva, a resident of North Ossetia. This was reported by the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a Vladikavkaz court accepted for consideration two administrative cases against Roman Khidirov, accused under the article on discrediting the army.

On November 17, the court also fined Ruslan Totrov, a journalist, by 50,000 roubles, finding him guilty of discrediting Russian militaries. Ruslan has treated the judgement as biased and announced his intention to appeal against it. Totrov has linked the three cases against him in a row about discrediting the army with his professional activities. After the three administrative protocols, the risk of initiating a criminal case against Totrov has increased, his advocate has noted.
