Kadyrov's daughters and cousin fall under EU sanctions

The ninth package of sanctions of the European Union (EU) included 49 organizations and 141 individuals, including the daughters of the head of Chechnya, Aishat and Khadizhat Kadyrovas, and his cousin Turpal-Ali Ibragimov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the eighth package of EU sanctions against Russia was introduced on October 6. It included 30 Russian individuals and seven legal entities, including the former head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Evkurov.

The individuals who fell under the new EU package of sanctions include the daughters of the head of Chechnya, Aishat and Khadizhat (mentioned as Karina) Kadyrovas, as well as his cousin, Turpal-Ali Ibragimov, who is the first deputy head of the Chechen administration.

In his Telegram channel, Kadyrov has noted that "the whole West" fears them "like fire."

Adam Delimkhanov, a State Duma MP, has also congratulated Aishat and Khadizhat Kadyrovas "on being included into the sanctions list."

Akhmed Dudaev, the Minister of Information of Chechnya, has written in his Telegram channel that the inclusion of Kadyrov's daughters on the list testifies "to the cowardice of European leaders and the absurdity of their decisions."
