Female refugee from Kherson fined in Kuban for discrediting army

The Timashevsky District Court has fined Karina Terebetskaya, a refugee from Kherson, for discrediting the Russian Army.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 4, 2022, Russia introduced responsibility for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, after which Russian residents, including those from Kuban (the Krasnodar Territory), began to be prosecuted under this article. Thus, on January 8, it became known that the Prikubansky District Court of Krasnodar received the case of Sergey Merkulov.

Now, as reported by the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project with reference to the Joint Press Service of the Courts of the Krasnodar Territory, Karina Terebetskaya, a 19-year-old resident of Kherson, was fined under the article about discrediting Russian militaries for shouting on the New Year's Eve.

Karina was detained on the New Year's Eve because of a phrase that, according to the police, discredited the Russian Army, the "OVD-Info"** human rights project has reported.

The young woman was detained after someone's denunciation, the "Astra" Telegram channel has specified.
