Resident of Dagestan accused of discrediting Russian militaries
The court received the case of Murad Aslankhanov, a resident of Dagestan, accused under the administrative article on discrediting the Russian Army.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that administrative responsibility for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces was introduced on March 4, 2022. The maximum penalty under this article for citizens is a fine of 50,000 roubles, but a repeated violation thereof within a year implies already criminal prosecution.
The Akhtynsky District Court of Dagestan has received the case opened against the local resident, Murad Aslankhanov, against whom law enforcers had drawn up a protocol under the above article on discrediting the Russian Army, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project reports.
