Experts confirm their conclusions about articles by Dagestani journalist Abdulmumin Gadjiev

At the trial of the case of Abdulmumin Gadjiev, Kemal Tambiev and Abubakar Rizvanov, experts answered the prosecutor's questions and confirmed their conclusions in the examination of Gadjiev's publications.

On May 18, the judicial investigation under the case of financing terrorism against Gadjiev, Tambiev and Rizvanov was announced over. The third examination, which the prosecutor insisted on, failed to find calls for illegal actions in Gadjiev's publications. Colleagues of Gadjiev, who is one of the editors of the "Chernovik" (Draft) outlet, treat his case as political persecution and regularly hold solo pickets in his support in Makhachkala. The examination has emphasized the groundlessness of the charges, which could affect the court's judgement, Idris Yusupov, a journalist, has suggested. However, the prosecutor has demanded to question the experts in court.

The prosecutor has begun debates, which he is expected to conclude at the session on June 15, Dara Sakieva, Gadjiev's wife, has added.
