Kadyrov's mother receives highest award of Russian Council of Muftis

Aimani Kadyrova has been awarded the Al-Fakhr order by the Russian Council of Muftis, but was not present at the awarding ceremony. The order for Kadyrova at the opening of the restored mosque in the city of Mariupol was received by Salakh Mezhiev, the Mufti of Chechnya.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 2, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that his mother had been awarded the Order of Honour for her active social work, which was presented to her by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Aimani Kadyrova, the head of the Kadyrov Fund, the mother of the head of Chechnya, has been awarded the Al-Fakhr Order of Honour by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of the Russian Federation, Akhmed Dudaev, the head of the Chechen Ministry of Press, has announced in his Telegram channel.

Aimani Kadyrova was awarded the Al-Fakhr Order of Honour "for many years of fruitful charitable work in the name of the values of mercy and philanthropy, the affirmation of the ideals of motherhood and a traditional strong family in the society," Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin said in his decree.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on August 24, the US Treasury imposed sanctions on 11 Russian citizens, including the mother of the head of Chechnya, Aimani Kadyrova. Kadyrov said he would not forgive the US sanctions against his mother and demanded that they be lifted.
