Sources report refusal to open a case on Zhuravel's beating by Kadyrov's son

After conducting a check, the police refused to open a criminal case against Adam Kadyrov for beating up Nikita Zhuravel, a Volgograd resident, committed at the SIZO (pre-trial prison). The court in Grozny has set a date for the first session on Zhuravel's case" he is accused of burning the Koran.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 25, Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video showing his son, Adam Kadyrov, beating Nikita Zhuravel up. The head of Chechnya praised his son for this act. The police have completed a check of the beating of  and refused to open a case, since criminal liability for such crimes is provided for people over 16 years old, and Adam Kadyrov has not reached this age, the "Baza" Telegram channel has reported.

Let us remind you that on September 28, the Kremlin announced a meeting between Kadyrov and Putin, but in the report, which was posted in the Kremlin's website, the issue of scandal with Zhuravel was not raised.

Beating a defenceless person is contrary to Chechen customs, Akhmet Yarlykapov, an Orientalist, Ruslan Kutaev, an expert on the Caucasus, have stated.
