Comment in messenger leads to arrest of Astrakhan resident
A court has arrested Evgeny Prisakar, an Astrakhan resident, for seven days, treating his comment in the Telegram messenger as aimed at inciting hatred and hostility towards Russians.
According to investigators, Prisakar had posted a comment in the Telegram channel of Vladimir Zolkin, a Ukrainian blogger, in which he expressed support for Ukraine.
The comment was discovered by Russian law enforcers, after which they conducted linguistic studies and found that the Astrakhan resident "humiliated Russians' dignity as a nationality." During the trial, Evgeny Prisakar admitted his guilt, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that the court had fined Amanzhol Arystanov, an Astrakhan resident, by 30,000 roubles, recognizing that the voice messages he had posted in the messenger discredited Russian militaries.
