Administrative cases against riot participants in Makhachkala sent to court

The Karabudakhkent District Court received 37 protocols against participants of the riots at the Makhachkala airport under the article on violating the procedure for holding protests; in 14 cases decisions on punishment have already been made.

The Kavkaz.Realii* publication drew attention to the protocols that were received by the Karabudakhkent District Court under an administrative article on violation of the established procedure for holding public events by interfering with the operation of transport infrastructure (Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences).

As follows from the information on the court’s website, in total, the court received 37 administrative protocols under this article. For 14 of them, a decision has already been made to impose an administrative penalty, according to the court’s website. The punishment under it is a fine of 10 to 20 thousand rubles, up to 120 hours of compulsory labor, or up to 15 days of arrest.
