Trend of awarding Kadyrov's son continued by KChR Mufti

Ismail-Khadji Berdiev, Mufti of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) has decorated Adam Kadyrov, the son of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who had beaten up at the SIZO (pre-trial prison) Nikita Zhuravel, a Volgograd resident accused of burning down the Koran, with the Order of Merit for the Ummah.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the head of Tatarstan presented Adam Kadyrov with the Order of "Duslyk", and Rashid Temrezov, the head of the KChR – with the Order of Merit for the KChR. On October 6, it became known that Adam Kadyrov was awarded the title of Hero of Chechnya.

The Order of Merit for the Ummah was established by the North-Caucasian Muslims' Coordination Centre in 2007; it is awarded to the people who have contributed to the development of Islam and the strengthening of the Muslim community, the website "IslamRF.Ru" explains.

Let us remind you that on September 25, Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video, in which Adam Kadyrov beats Nikita Zhuravel at the SIZO. The head of Chechnya praised his son for this act. The beating of a defenceless person is contrary to Chechen customs, Akhmet Yarlykapov, an Orientalist, and Ruslan Kutaev, an expert on the Caucasus, have noted.
