Relatives of Galaev brothers, killed in Ingushetia, released

Three relatives of the Galaev brothers, who were arrested on September 27, have been released. The brothers were killed on suspicion of involvement in illegal armed formations.

According to human rights activists, the victims' mother, wife and senior brother, who were taken away by power agents from their own house in the village of Sagopshi of the Malgobek District of Ingushetia, were released in the evening of the same day.

"During the special operation, in the house in the Oskanova Street, where the Galaevs live, there were Fasi, victims' mother, their senior brother Tagir, Said-Magomed, 22, his wife Madina, Ruslan, 20, and Sajd-Ahmed, 11. One of the brothers - Said-Magomed - was shot dead in the eyes of his wife, and then the special agents also killed Ruslan who was in the room with his mother and younger brother. Then, the agents took away the victims' bodies, senior Tagir, Madina and the mother and left away. In the evening of the same day all the three were released. The motives of their detention are still unknown," an employee of the Human Rights Centre "Memorial" in Nazran told the "Caucasian Knot."

In the same evening the bodies of the victims were returned to the relatives, and yesterday they were buried in Sagopshi village.
