Rights defenders don't treat sending migrants from Rostov Region to front as massive

Sending migrants to the front does not look like a mass phenomenon, human rights defenders have pointed out in their comments to Rostov law enforcers' reports about serving summonses to local migrants following the raids conducted after the terror act at the Crocus City Hall.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that after the raids conducted by law enforcers after the above terror act, massive violations of the migration legislation were revealed. Thus, in the Rostov Region, 46 citizens of Central Asia were ordered to leave Russia. Human rights defenders have treated the fight for migration legality as a show.

Rostov law enforcers continue reporting about revealing illegal migrants. Thus, on April 12, policemen identified 204 violations of migration legislation and the absence of marks for military registration in 49 citizens. They were served summonses demanding from them to appear at military commissariats.

The raid intensification occurs periodically, Valentina Chupik, a lawyer, has noted. According to her version, there is no open data about the number of migrants sent to the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine. The above intensification was approached by both those who were forced to be sent and the relatives of the migrants already sent to the SMO zone. "But there have been negligible numbers of them since March 2023; a real coercion took place in September-October 2022," Ms Chupik has pointed out.
