Musaeva's defence denies her urgent hospitalization

Zarema Musaeva remains in the colony for now; her advocates are seeking her transfer to a medical institution, but urgent hospitalization is out of question, the "Team Against Torture" (TaT)* has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Abubakar Yangulbaev, a lawyer and one of Zarema Musaeva's sons, has informed that his mother was hospitalized from the colony after a sharp deterioration in her health condition. According to his version, Musaeva lost the ability to move. On April 19, it became known that doctors of the medical commission deprived Musaeva of the chance for the conditional early relief (CER), diagnosing her with a milder form of the disease.

Alexander Savin, one of Musaeva's advocates, has refuted Yangulbaev's information that Musaeva was hospitalized. According to the advocate, she is still in the colony.

Her defence is demanding planned hospitalization due to the fact that the woman has been complaining of pains since March, the TaT* has reported.

"After an appeal to the head of the Chechen Branch of the FSIN (Russian Federal Penitentiary Service), there has been obvious progress," the TaT's* Telegram channel quotes Mr Savin as saying.

*The "Team against Torture" (TaT, formerly the "Committee against Torture" – CaT) was created by the lawyers who had earlier worked for the CaT, which was included into the register of the NCOs performing the functions of foreign agents.
