Stand-up concert spectator apologizes for his joke about Chechen women
The spectator of the stand-up concert who said he had been "hanging out with Chechen girls" has apologized to the entire Chechen people for the thoughtless joke.
The reason for the apology was in a joke made by one of the spectators of the stand-up comedian's performance, a fragment of the video recording of which was posted by the "ChP Grozny 95" Telegram channel. Abu Gazale Nidal, a stand-up comedian, asked a man in the audience if he had a girlfriend. The man replied that his girlfriend should arrive soon. The comedian asked whether the man had spent the New Year holidays with other girls. "They are Chechens," said the spectator.
The following message contained the man's apology. "I sincerely apologize for this joke. I didn't want to offend anyone ... I promise never to repeat such jokes against any other nationality in the future," he has stated.
Another man asked the apologetic man why he decided to joke like that. He replied that he hoped that this episode would be cut out, and the joke was "thoughtless."
Earlier, residents of other regions used to apologize for their statements addressed to Chechens. Thus, a video with obscene comments, in which a resident of Chechnya walks along a Moscow beach with a weapon, became the reason for the apology of the video's author. The Muscovite admitted that he was "guilty" about the Chechen people and promised that this would not happen again.
