ICRF head demands to open criminal case against Volgograd resident for his Nazi salute

During the festive events on the Victory Day, a Volgograd resident was marching with his hand raised in a Nazi salute and didn't react to people's remarks. He later apologized, treating his actions as "apery." Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), has demanded to initiate a criminal case against him.

The ICRF's report states that the above resident of Volgograd "had committed illegal actions related to the demonstration of Nazi symbols." While doing it, he failed to react to people's calls to stop it.

Later, the hero of the video, Vasily Kozlovsky, 38, recorded a video with an apology. He has treated his actions as "apery" and "dancing with his right hand raised." "I was just making faces and didn't want to offend or insult anyone," he has explained.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that in August 2023, in the Otradnensky District of Kuban (the Krasnodar Territory), two young women were fined for demonstrating Nazi symbols.
